In recent weeks one of our Lancashire based construction customers had a Roller stolen from their yard in the early hours, they turned up to the yard and noticed that one of their rollers was missing.

They rang So-Trak for some help in recovering their roller, Sophie in our operations department was on the case immediately and showed them how to find and locate the roller.

She had noticed the thieves had cut the power to be able to move the roller and then reconnected the battery which activated the tracker.

They then went to the location the tracker was showing and reclaimed their property. This saved them thousands in replacing this vital piece of equipment and thousands in downtime.

With the details from our system, they could also pass this information over to the local authorities which will help them in stopping plant thefts.
